St. Charles East taking nominations for Harrison award

The St. Charles East Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Class of the Jodie Harrison Lifetime Achievement Award.

One hundred and twenty-two individuals have received this prestigious award since its inception in 1993.


The purpose of the Jodie Harrison Lifetime Achievement Award is to honor the memory of Jodie Harrison, former St. Charles East Athletic Director, by inducting individuals into the Hall of Fame who have demonstrated lifetime qualities and accomplishments consistent with his values, character, and commitment to St. Charles High School/St. Charles East High School athletics. Athletes, coaches, friends, and boosters are all eligible for induction.

To nominate an individual, please use the format outlined on the St. Charles East website ( under Resources Tab -- Jodie Harrison Hall of Fame.

Instructions are included on the form. When finished, please return the form to Mike Sommerfeld, Athletic Director at St. Charles East High School at Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 31.

The selection process for the Jodie Harrison Lifetime Achievement Award is outlined in the bylaws which are included on the same website as the nomination form. Any questions, please contact Sommerfeld.
