Baker's 17 points lead Mundelein

Trey Baker scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures, and Mundelein's boys basketball team wrapped up regular-season play by beating visiting Warren 61-50 in North Suburban Conference action on Wednesday night.

Conor Enright added 15 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds for the Mustangs (27-4, 12-2), who have won five in a row. Mundelein's other contributors included Scottie Ebube (13 points, 8 rebounds), Jack Bikus (11 points, 5 rebounds) and Syam Atade (2 points, 7 rebounds).

Warren (11-18) finished 4-10 in the NSC.

Both Warren and Mundelein open the state tournament on Tuesday night as part of the Class 4A Prospect sectional. No. 13 Warren will play No. 4 Libertyville in a semifinal of the Warren regional (6 p.m.). No. 2 Mundelein will play No. 15 Wheeling in a semifinal of the Fremd regional (7 p.m.).
