Hines, Grayslake North rally to beat Woodstock

Tony Hines scored 25 points, Dominic Jankowski added 22, and Grayslake North's boys basketball team rallied in the second half to beat host Woodstock 75-62 in a nonconference matinee on Saturday.

Jamon Thomas had 21 points for the Knights (10-17), who won for the second time in less than 24 hours. Grayslake North overcame a 16-point deficit with a 49-point second half.

Woodstock fell to 6-22.

Lake Forest 48, Elk Grove 39

The Scouts improved to 18-11 with the nonconference win, as Cade Nowik scored 12 points.

Jack Malloy added 10 for Lake Forest.

Hersey 56, Grayslake Central 46

The visiting Rams fell to 16-13 with the nonconference loss.

Warren 50, Jacobs 39

The visiting Blue Devils picked up the nonconference win to improve to 11-17.

Batavia 65, Lakes 51

The visiting Eagles dropped to 9-20 with the nonconference loss.

Raby 73, Carmel 69

The host Corsairs lost the nonconference matinee to fall to 17-13.
