Bikus, Mundelein cruise past Elgin

Jack Bikus had 19 points and 4 rebounds, and Mundelein's boys basketball team defeated host Elgin 71-32 in a nonconference game late Saturday afternoon.

Trey Baker added 15 points and 4 assists for the Mustangs (23-4), who won less than 24 hours after losing their North Suburban Conference showdown against visiting Stevenson. Scottie Ebube had 11 points and 5 rebounds, and Conor Enright collected 9 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.

Carmel 65, Lisle 44: At the Indian Creek Shootout, Bryce Moore scored 15 points to lead three players in double figures, as the Corsairs won their fifth in a row.

Kimahri Wilson and Asher Jackson added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Carmel (17-11).

Lisle fell to 16-13.
