Darrione Rogers of Lake Park is this week's Daily Herald MVP for girls basketball.

Darrione Rogers, Lake Park: The 5-foot-11 senior averaged 21.7 points a game in three wins and helped the Lancers take sole possession of first place in the DuKane Conference. She also topped the 1,900-point mark and surpassed Kelly Miller for second on the school's all-time scoring list.

Morgan Frank, Mundelein: Before scoring her 1,500th point this week, the senior forward showed again how she can take over a game and carry her team to victory. She scored a career-high 32 points -- 1 more than she had earlier this season -- as the Mustangs outlasted host Waukegan 63-55 in overtime. The Colgate commit made two 3-pointers and also had 10 rebounds, 6 blocks, 6 steals and 3 assists.
