Christian Liberty goes 24-3 with OT win
Christian Liberty's girls basketball team added to its school-record single-season wins by defeating Rockford Lutheran 60-54 in Monday's nonconference game.
The visiting Crusaders fought back from a 7-point deficit with three minutes remaining and tied the game with 12 seconds left in regulation.
In overtime, the Chargers (24-3) got the first two baskets and never looked back.
Julia Wolke (17 points) and Audrey Law (16 points) led CLA which also received 7 points from Melissa Castro and six from apiece from Hannah Mindak and Christine Seon.
