Lakes win as Gunther hits six 3-pointers

Tylor Gunther scored 18 points on six 3-pointers, and Lakes' boys basketball team defeated visiting Grayslake North 74-54 in Northern Lake County Conference action on Friday night.

Branden Nava chipped in 17 points and Garrett Klein added 14 for the Eagles (7-15, 3-4), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Tony Hines scored 16 points to lead Grayslake North (6-12, 2-5).

Round Lake 75, North Chicago 69: Deveauntay McNeal scored 29 points, Hakim Williams added 18, and the host Panthers won the Northern Lake County Conference game.

Isaiah Nixon chipped in 10 points for Round Lake (15-8, 5-2).
