Mundelein's Ebube posts triple-double; Lake Forest stuns Stevenson

Scottie Ebube posted a triple-double, and Mundelein's boys basketball team defeated host Warren 50-26 on Wednesday night.

With Stevenson losing at Lake Forest, the Mustangs (18-3, 6-1) moved into first-place tie with the Patriots in the North Suburban Conference.

Ebube finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. Trey Baker led Mundelein in scoring with 19 points. Conor Enright had 10 points and 8 assists, and Jack Bikus contributed 7 points and 10 rebounds.

Warren fell to 7-13 and 2-5 in the NSC.

Lake Forest 38, Stevenson 33: The host Scouts pulled off the upset in North Suburban Conference action.

Jack Malloy had 20 points for Lake Forest (13-9, 4-3).

R.J. Holmes and Matt Kaznikov each had 10 points for Stevenson (16-4, 7-1), which suffered its first conference loss.
