Grayslake Central wins fourth straight

Grant Hardy scored 15 points, and Grayslake Central's boys basketball team defeated host Crystal Lake Central 45-30 in a nonconference game Tuesday night for its fourth win in a row.

Dillan Dumanlang and Amarion Coleman added 9 and 8 points, respectively, for the Rams (9-8), who moved above the .500 mark for the first time this season.

Lake Forest 45, Vernon Hills 38: Jack Barszcz had 16 points for the host Cougars in their nonconference loss.
