Stevenson wins again behind King's 23

Avery King scored 23 points, including three 3-pointers, and Stevenson's girls basketball team defeated host Warren 58-30 in North Suburban Conference action on Wednesday night.

Ava Bardic added 9 points for the Patriots (16-6, 4-3), while Lydia Lueck and Simone Sawyer chipped in 8 and 7, respectively.

Stevenson has won four in a row and visits Palatine for a 2:30 p.m. tipoff on Saturday.

Macy Kocen had 11 points for Warren (7-13, 1-7).

Deerfield 53, Round Lake 25: Freshman Olivia Kerndt scored 13 points for the visiting Warriors in the nonconference game.

Freshman Lilli Burton had 8 points for Round Lake (3-16.).
