Lake Forest defeats Lakes

Jack Malloy scored 17 points, and Lake Forest defeated visiting Lakes 46-37 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Tuesday night.

Aidan Sage had 12 points to lead the Eagles, who fell to 5-11.


Lake Forest improved to 10-7.

McHenry 64, Grayslake North 59: On Monday night, Tony Hines had 27 points and 4 steals for the visiting Knights, whose second-half comeback in the nonconference game fell short.

Grayslake North (4-9) trailed 38-23 at halftime before outscoring the Warriors 17-15 in the third quarter and 19-11 in the fourth.
