Buffalo Grove goes to 4-0 in MSL East

Buffalo Grove's girls basketball team remained undefeated in the Mid-Suburban East with a 53-38 win over visiting Elk Grove on Friday night.

The Bison (10-8, 4-0) were led by Kendra Lee (16 points), Megan Fontanetta (11) and Macy Floro (10).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

Elk Grove (10-7, 1-3) was paced by Alyssa Trausch (8 points) and Kaitlyn Ingebrigtsen (8).

Hersey 54, Rolling Meadows 43: Visiting Hersey (15-6, 3-1) remained one game behind Buffalo Grove in the MSL East as freshman Katy Eidle (24 points), Mary Kate Fahey (11) and Mary McGrath (7) led the way.

Rolling Meadows (10-6, 2-1) was led by Bridget Rolla (14 points) and Madi Niedbala (12).

Palatine 43, Schaumburg 26: Host Palatine (9-9, 2-2) earned the MSL West win behind Madi Stark (15 points), Kayla Miotk (13) and Olivia Radtke (9).

Alyssa Orozco netted 12 points to pace Schaumburg (7-11, 2-2).

Prospect 58, Wheeling 32: Andie Will (20 points), Eliot Dojutrek (11) and Summer Srodulski (10) led visiting Prospect (9-7, 1-2) in the MSL East.

Chloe Drozdz scored 19 points for Wheeling (4-15, 0-4).

Conant 53, Hoffman Estates 28: Chikere Oduocha paced host Conant (5-11, 1-3) with 17 points and Isabella Tierney added 8 in the MSL West triumph.

Sophomore Ashley Oliver led the Hawks (2-15, 0-4) with 10 points.

Maine West 53, Vernon Hills 22: Host Maine West (17-1, 6-0) was led by Angela Dugalic (21 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals) and Dylan VanFleet (18 points, 5 steals, 3 assists) in the CSL North game. Brianna Hernandez chipped in 6 points off the bench.
