Lakes falls to Woodstock North
Lakes' girls basketball team opened the 2020 portion of its season with a 42-18 loss to host Woodstock North in a nonconference game on Wednesday night.
Rosie Tekampe had 6 points and 6 rebounds for the Eagles (2-12).
Grayslake Central 52, Palatine 36: On Tuesday night, Kate Bullman scored 24 points, and the host Rams picked up the nonconference win.
MK Drevline added 17 points for Grayslake Central, which improved to 14-3 with its sixth win in a row. Drevline and Bullman made three and two 3-pointers, respectively.
The Rams host Round Lake on Friday night.
Niles West 36, Mundelein 26: On Tuesday night, the host Mustangs lost the nonconference game despite Morgan Frank's game-high 16 points (two 3-pointers), 3 steals and 3 rebounds.
Mundelein (2-13) hosts Grayslake North on Thursday night.
Niles West was led by Trisha Cirineo's 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
