On a positive note for the Trojans, Emily Lukowski and Lauren Passaglia were selected to the all-tournament team.

"When you're a young team like we are, you look for a lot of things that you can improve on," Cary-Grove coach Tony Moretti said. "We've been good for small stretches of time all year. Then, there's some stretches where things get away from you. Honestly, (Libertyville) was one of the best teams we've seen all year. That's a fantastic basketball team. We had a couple things go wrong and we struggled against their press. And they pressured us. It kind of got away from us. But, we did play really hard and there's nothing but positive things at the end of the day."

Schaumburg 55, Elgin 15: Giana Kilbert scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds during the Maroons' loss to Schaumburg in the second day of the Bill Neibch Falcon Classic at Wheaton North.
