Wheeling picks up win over Elk Grove
Joe Jordan scored 15 points and jaden Terrell added 12 Friday night to lead Wheeling to a 66-49 Mid-Suburban East boys basketball win over Elk Grove.
Christian McLaughlin added 11 points and Robert Bucko had 9 for the Wildcats (5-4, 1-2), who open play in their own Hardwood Classic Monday night against St. Viator.
Devin McKinney led Elk Grove (0-9, 0-3) with 14 points. Mark Matos and Maurio Garay added 9 each for the Grens.
