Summerville, Lake Forest shut down Mundelein

Finola Summerville scored 18 points, including two 3-pointers, and Lake Forest's girls basketball team defeated host Mundelein 45-10 in North Suburban Conference action on Wednesday night.

Halle Douglass added 7 points for the Scouts, who led 14-2 after one quarter, 24-4 at halftime and 38-7 after three.

Morgan Frank led Mundelein (0-8, 0-3) with 5 points.

Woodstock 43, Antioch 32: Miranda Chamberlin scored 9 points on 3-of-4 shooting from three-point range for the host Sequoits in their nonconference loss.

Faith Miller and Avery Larsen put in 8 and 7 points, respectively, and combined for 12 rebounds for Antioch (4-6). Gianna Riforgiato didn't score, but she played strong defense, coach Tim Borries said, and picked up 4 steals.

Grant 50, Antioch 36: On Tuesday night, Jazzlyn Linbo's triple-double of 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks led the host Bulldogs to the Northern Lake County Conference win.

Grant improved to 5-3 and 3-0 in the NLCC with its third win in a row.

Antioch, which had its three-game winning streak snapped, fell to 4-5 and 2-1 in the NLCC.
