Balanced attack pushes Burlington Central past Sandwich

Burlington Central 55, Sandwich 36: The Rockets improved to 2-0 at the Sycamore-Strombom Tournament. Jake Lenschow (12), Josh Hudgens (10) and Carson Seyller (10) all reached double figures scoring with Edward Wells adding 9.

Also at Sycamore, Dundee-Crown evened its record at 1-1 with a 62-53 win over Rochelle.

Chicago Military Prep 65, St. Edward 52: The Green Wave (1-1) came up short at Westminster Christian's tournament despite 17 points from JP JP McGuire, 15 from Sebastian Oquendo and Jackson Godfrey's 10.

Neuqua Valley 69, West Aurora 63 (2 OT): The Blackhawks suffered a tough loss in double overtime at the Hoops for Healing tourney at Oswego. Kelvin Balfour scored 28 points and Kenneth Dyson had 10.

Woodstock North 52, Kaneland 49: Jamari Meeks scored 18 points and Porter Conroy added 13 but it wasn't enough for the Knights to pull out a win.
