Carmel cruises in regional semifinal

Carmel 75, North Grand 36: At Carmel, Johnny Roeser scored 17 points, as the host Corsairs won their Class 3A regional semifinal against the No. 14 Owls.
Damone Williams-Gray added 16 points for No. 3 Carmel (21-11), which advances to Friday's 7 p.m. championship game against No. 11 Elmwood Park. Elmwood Park upset No. 6 Steinmetz 49-45.
