Grant 68, Vernon Hills 40: At Wheeling, Hunter Waszkowski scored 19 points, Henry Kusiak added 17, and the Bulldogs won the Class 4A regional play-in.
Tavarus Williams had 11 points for No. 12 Grant (19-12), which will play No. 5 Deerfield at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals.
No. 21 Vernon Hills finishes 8-22.
Warren 51, Lakes 35: At Grayslake North, the Blue Devils won the Class 4A regional play-in.
No. 11 Warren (15-15) will play No. 6 Prospect in Wednesday's 7:30 p.m. semifinal.
No. 22 Lakes finishes 8-20.
Highland Park 56, Lake Forest 43: At Lake Forest, the Giants won the Class 4A regional play-in.
No. 17 Highland Park will play top-seeded Stevenson in Tuesday's 7 p.m. semifinal.
