Triplett leads Lakes past Antioch

Leighsean Triplett scored a career-high 25 points, and Lakes' boys basketball team defeated visiting Antioch 57-41 in Northern Lake County Conference action on Tuesday night.

Brad Cherry added 16 points for the Eagles (7-17, 5-6).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

Dan Filippone led Antioch (12-11, 4-7) with 18 points.

Wauconda 73, North Chicago 65: Donovan Carter scored 31 points, knocking down five 3-pointers, as the visiting Bulldogs pulled out the Northern Lake County Conference win.

Nick Bulgarelli added 11 points for Wauconda (13-13, 5-6).

North Chicago fell to 11-18 and 6-5 in the NLCC.

Warren 61, Lake Zurich 55: Adnan Sarancic and Juan DelaCruz scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the visiting Blue Devils in the North Suburban Conference game.

Jordan Johnson had 11 points for Warren (13-14, 5-7).

Will Tucker scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, for Lake Zurich (7-21, 2-10.) J.R. Cison had 9 points.
