Grayslake Central defeats North Chicago again

Antonio Crews scored 18 points to lead three players in double figures, and Grayslake Central defeated visiting North Chicago 70-31 in Northern Lake County Conference boys basketball action on Tuesday night.

Daniel Guckenberger and Coby Moe added 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Rams (9-12, 4-4). Grayslake Central made 12 3-pointers, including three by Moe and two apiece by Crews, Guckenberger and Ethan Boelens.

 

North Chicago fell to 10-15 and 6-3 in the NLCC.

The Rams also defeated North Chicago on Dec. 15, 46-39.

Grayslake North 65, Round Lake 50: Ryan Connolly scored 23 points, as the host Knights won in Northern Lake County Conference action for their fifth win in a row.

Tony Hines added 21 points for Grayslake North (13-10, 7-3).

Round Lake (9-14, 0-8) was led by Hakim Williams' 20 points and Deveauntay McNeal's 12.
