Warren tops Mundelein again

Jataia Harris scored 11 points, Dana Lundtveit added 10, and Warren's girls basketball team defeated visiting Mundelein 43-31 in North Suburban Conference action on Friday night.

Warren (6-15, 3-6) swept the season series from Mundelein (7-16, 2-7). The Blue Devils led 13-9 after one quarter and then outscored the Mustangs 11-1 in the second. Warren extended its advantage to 38-19 entering the fourth quarter.

The Blue Devils have won three of their last five.

Morgan Frank had 14 points, 6 blocks and 5 rebounds for Mundelein. Kendall Klatt added 8 points.

Lake Zurich 64, Waukegan 43: Ella Gilbertson scored 20 points, as the host Bears won their third straight to improve to 11-12 and 6-3 in the North Suburban Conference.

Margueret Spear added 11 points for Lake Zurich. The Bears' other contributors included Brigid Ferguson (9 points), Alayna Soukup (8), Anna Biergans (7), Kyleen Marquardt (5) and Amelia Young (4).
