Jacob Schauer of Wheaton North is this week's Daily Herald boys basketball MVP.
Jacob Schauer, Wheaton North: Schauer helped propel the Falcons into sole possession of first place in the DuKane Conference with victories over St. Charles East and Batavia. The 6-foot-1 senior guard scored 22 points, including 11-of-12 free-throw shooting, against the Saints, and 23 points against the Bulldogs.

A few days later he scored a team-best 18 points in a 57-26 victory over Glenbard South, which extended West Aurora's winning streak to seven.
