Balanced effort paces Libertyville

Margaret Buchert sank four 3-pointers and scored 14 points, all in the first half, and Libertyville's girls basketball team defeated visiting Lakes 61-32 in a nonconference game on Tuesday night.

Lydia Crow (two 3-pointers) added 12 points for the Wildcats (15-6), who had 10 players score. Maddie Spaulding and Abby Parkerson contributed 8 points apiece.

"We got great minutes from all of our players tonight," Libertyville coach Greg Pedersen said.

Rosie Tekampe had 12 points to lead Lakes (8-13).
