Fremd, Hersey, Prospect, Wheeling MSL crossover winners

Fremd's boys basketball team shared the wealth and scored at will Tuesday night in a 67-27 Mid-Suburban League crossover win against Elk Grove.

Dean Ganas and Kayman Hopkins led the scoring for the Vikings (12-3) with 13 points each. Jake Schoffstall added 11 and Bryce Hopkins 10 for Fremd, which had 20 assists as a team.

Elk Grove fell to 4-13 with the loss.

Hersey 70, Barrington 60: Jacob Kluczewski had 19 points and Matthew Hanushewsky added 17 to lead the Huskies (8-8) to this MSL crossover win. Davis Belford added 14 points and Rocco Ronzio had 10 for Hersey. Barrington fell to 12-5 with the loss.

Prospect 48, Hoffman Estates 32: Jonathan Kreidler had 16 points and Sam Murray added 13 to lead the Knights (8-8) in their MSL crossover victory. Ben Zellmer added 8 points to the win. Rudra Patel led Hoffman (4-12) with 11 points.

Wheeling 52, Palatine 47: Michael Best had 16 points and Brandon Zettek added 14 to lead Wheeling to this MSL crossover win. Christian McLaughlin (11 points) and Jeremy Kim (8) also contributed for the Wildcats (4-9). Julian Campbell scored 18 points, Luke Seiffert had 13 and Marshawn Rayford 8 for Palatine (6-9).
