Douglass leads Lake Forest past Mundelein in OT
Halle Douglass scored 28 points and Lake Forest's girls basketball team outlasted host Mundelein 59-51 in overtime on Wednesday night.
Grace Tirzmalis added 15 points for the Scouts, who improved to 7-2 and 2-1 in the North Suburban Conference. Lake Forest outscored the Mustangs 9-1 in OT.
Mundelein (4-6, 1-3) was led by Morgan Frank, who had 22 points (three 3-pointers), 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Kendall Klatt added 19 points and 6 rebounds for the Mustangs.
Marengo 68, Round Lake 45: The host Panthers dropped the nonconference game, despite 15 points from Diane Flade.
Round Lake fell to 5-4.
