Huntley, Jacobs post FVC wins
Freshman Raquel Radermacher scored 16 points Wednesday night to lead the Huntley girls basketball team to a 42-29 Fox Valley Conference win over Cary-Grove.
Anna Seng and Kamsi Nwogu had 6 points each for the Red Raiders (6-17, 3-8) while Katie Sowa led C-G (13-9, 7-5) with 12 points and Bailey Steinkamp added 9.
Jacobs 41, CL South 39: Kyra Cabusao had 13 points, Kerri Healy 11 and Elizabeth Schwartz 8 as Jacobs (9-13, 6-6) won this FVC game. Lauren Schoen led Crystal Lake (6-15, 1-10) South with 17 points and Christine Lehman added 8.
