Bartlett tops West Chicago

Justina Hernandez led a balanced Bartlett scoring attack Tuesday night as the Hawks defeated West Chicago 51-37 in an Upstate Eight Valley girls basketball game.

Teagan Noesen added 8 points for division-leading Bartlett (14-9, 6-0).

Aurora Christian 52, Westminster Christian 29: Tori Henning had 20 points to lead the Eagles (13-7, 5-1) to a Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Megan Hart added 8 points for AC and Lauren Richert had 7.

South Elgin 35, Glenbard East 25: Casey Brennan and Catora Brown led South Elgin with 8 points each in the UEC Valley. Megan McClure added 7 for the Storm (10-9, 4-2).

Batavia 52, Streamwood 44: In the UEC River, Erin Golden had 14 points, Ava Sergio scored 12 and Hailey Orman and Allison Newberry had 7 each for Batavia (15-9, 8-1), which has won 4 straight and 6 of 8. Batavia plays at division-leading Geneva Friday night.

St. Charles East 61, Elgin 26: Also in the UEC River, Rose Stackhouse and Sara Rosenfeldt had 12 points each for St. Charles East (11-11, 4-4) while Ashley DiOrio added 10 and Madeline Hiarata 8. Kylie Graves led Elgin (4-20, 0-9) with 6 points.
