Jacobs knocks off Prairie Ridge in OT
Kerri Healy scored a game-high 21 points, including 7 in overtime, Tuesday night as the Jacobs girls basketball team knocked off Prairie Ridge 51-44 in a Fox Valley Conference game.
Liz Schwartz added 19 points for the Golden Eagles (4-6, 3-3).
St. Charles North 51, Palatine 42: Annie Tate hit for 20 points to lead the North Stars (5-4) to a nonconference win. Anna Davern had 12 points for SCN and Caroline Jakaitis added 9.
South Elgin 47, DeKalb 40: Catora Brown scored 22 points and Casey Brennan added 9 to pace South Elgin (4-3) in its nonconference win, the Storm's third straight win.
Kaneland 65, Morris 36: Jenni Weber had 21 points and Jamie Martens added 15 as Kaneland (7-1, 4-1) won in the Northern Illinois Big XII East.
Cary-Grove 51, Conant 23: Elsa Larry (11 points) and Maddie Jannusch (10) led Cary-Grove (6-5) to a nonconference win.
McHenry 65, Huntley 47: Kamsi Nwogu and Raquel Radermacher had 15 points each for Huntley (1-8, 0-5) in this FVC loss.
Harvest Christian 68, Resurrection 63: In a nonconference game, Alyssa Iverson's 22 points led the Lions (9-3) to the win. Elena Porrata added 16 points for Harvest while Grace Ringel had 15.
Aurora Christian 68 Horizon Science Academy 20: Tori Henning had 14 points, Lauren Richert 13 and Alexandra Fry 12 to lead the Eagles (6-4) to a nonconference win.
Westminster Christian 50, Rockford Christian Life 11: Keely Frens scored 11 points and Elise VanNoord had 10 as Westminster won this Northeastern Athletic Conference game. Grace Schmitt had 15 rebounds for the Warriors (5-5, 2-1) and Tess Anderson added 9 points.
