Rosenfeldt becomes St. Charles East's all-time scoring leader

Sara Rosenfeldt became St. Charles East's all-time leading scorer in girls basketball Friday night when she led the Saints to a 62-33 Upstate Eight River win over Elgin.

The 6-foot senior scored a game-high 20 points as the Saints (2-6, 1-1) snapped a six-game losing streak.

Rose Stackhouse added 10 points for SCE while Ashley DiOrio and Emily Vitkus had 8 points each.

Dajha Cooper led Elgin (0-9, 0-4) with 11 points. Kylie Graves added 9 points and 10 rebounds for the Maroons.

McHenry 53, Dundee-Crown 45: Kennedy White had 14 points and Gianine Boado added 11 for D-C (5-4, 3-2) in its Fox Valley Conference loss.

Jacobs 57, Cary-Grove 47: Kerry Healy scored 17 points, Liz Schwartz had 14 and Courtney Pahl added 13 to lead Jacobs (3-6, 2-3) to a FVC win. Katie Sowa had 11 points and Bailey Steinkamp 8 for Cary-Grove (5-5, 2-3).

West Aurora 37, East Aurora 21: Skylar Doby had 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists to lead the Blackhawks (7-2, 1-0) to an Upstate Eight Valley win.

Harvest Christian 64, Aurora Christian 38: Elena Porrata (16 points) and Alyssa Iverson (15) led the Lions (7-2, 2-0) to this Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Jen Kasper added 11 points for Harvest. Tori Henning led Aurora Christian (4-3, 1-1) with 16 points.

Hampshire 33, Huntley 29: Morgan Haefling had 8 points while Lauren Herrmann and Kelby Bannerman added 7 each to lead the Whip-Purs (4-6, 2-2) to this FVC win. Kamsi Nwogu (9 points) and Raquel Radermacher (8) led Huntley (1-7, 0-4).

Westminster Christian 43, Keith 23: Keely Frens scored 12 points while Grace Schmitt had 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Warriors (4-4, 1-1) to a NAC win.
