Peterson powers a Libertyville win; Ellis, Warren stop Lake Forest

Drew Peterson poured in 37 points, and Libertyville's boys basketball team knocked off host Waukegan 63-54 in North Suburban Conference action Friday night.

The Wildcats' third win in a row hiked their record to 4-3 and 2-0 in the NSC.

Warren 52, Lake Forest 42: Branden Ellis scored 20 points, and the visiting Blue Devils won in North Suburban action.

Warren improved to 5-3 and 1-1 in the NSC, while Lake Forest fell to 3-4 and 0-2. Ben Gibson had 19 points and 7 rebounds for the Scouts.
