Williams' four 3-pointers help Hoffman to win

Hoffman Estates senior guard Tayler Williams connected for a career-high four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 14 points to help lift the Hawks to a 39-33 nonconference girls basketball triumph over visiting West Chicago on Tuesday night.

Williams hit two 3-pointers in the third quarter when Hoffman rallied from a 12-11 halftime deficit and outscored West Chicago 17-9.

Also reaching double figures for the Hawks (2-6) were juniors Kate Mongold (13 points) and Raven Wilson (10 points).

Prospect 47, St. Charles East 40: Prospect raised its record to 5-2 with the nonconference win in St. Charles.
