Gorecki a finalist for national award

Duke University women's basketball graduate student and former Fremd standout Haley Gorecki has been selected as one of five finalists for the 2020 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award for the top shooting guard in the nation.

The winner of this award will be determined by a combination of fan votes and input from the Basketball Hall of Fame's selection committee.

By visiting hoophallawards.com, fans will have the ability to vote for Gorecki.

The voting opened on Friday and will run until Friday, March 27.

The player that wins the fan voting will receive one additional vote for the award.
