Ebube leads balanced attack for Mundelein
Scottie Ebube had 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Mundelein's boys basketball team defeated host Lake Zurich 58-38 in North Suburban Conference action on Saturday night.
Mundelein (17-3, 5-1) boasted a balanced attack that also included the efforts of Jack Bikus (12 points, 5 rebounds), Trey Baker (11 points), Syam Atade (6 points, 16 rebounds) and Conor Enright (5 points, 12 assists).
Lake Zurich fell to 6-12 and 1-4 in the NSC.
Lake Forest 51, Libertyville 44: On Friday night, Asa Thomas had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the host Scouts won the North Suburban Conference game.
Jack Malloy added 11 points for Lake Forest (12-8, 3-3).
Libertyville fell to 12-7 and 2-4 in the NSC.
