Henning, Lopez lead Aurora Christian to win

Tori Henning scored 20 points while Dannielle Lopez added 10 points and 17 rebounds Tuesday night to lead Aurora Christian's girls basketball team to a 58-27 win over Harvard at the IMSA/AC tournament.

Lauren Richert added 10 points and Megan Hart had 9 for the Eagles.

Cary-Grove 58, Deerfield 54: Katie Sowa scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Trojans (2-0) to a win at the Lake Zurich Turkey Thriller tournament.

Harvest Christian 43, CL Central 34: Ilena Porrata scored 14 points and Alyssa Iverson added 10 to lead the Lions (2-0) to a win at their own tournament. Grace Ringel added 9 points for Harvest.

Oak Park-River Forest 63, St. Edward 52: Madison Knott scored 23 points and Yssa Sto. Domingo added 14 for St. Edward in its season-opening loss at the Hinsdale South tournament.

Westminster Christian 35, Kirkand 21: Elise VanNoord had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Westminster. Mica Glanzer also grabbed 10 rebounds and Tess Anderson added 4 steals.

Lane Tech 70, Elgin 27: Sabrina Chen had 6 points for Elgin (0-1) at the Fenton/Addison Trail tournament. Dajha Cooper and Makenna Downing added 5 points each for the Maroons.

Neuqua Valley 54, Batavia 45: Erin Golden (14 points), Ava Sergio (11) and Geddy Rerko (9) led Batavia (0-1) in a nonconference loss.
