Wauconda gets past Round Lake

Jarod Stonis scored 24 points, and Wauconda's boys basketball team wrapped regular-season action with a 56-50 win over host Round Lake on Tuesday night.

Brendan Tulley added 8 points for Wauconda (9-17), which finished 5-9 in the Northern Lake County Conference.

Angelo White and Chris Pierre each had 10 points for Round Lake (2-22, 0-14).

Glenbrook South 74, Vernon Hills 63: Matt Giannakopolous scored a team-high 16 points to help the host Titans to a victory in Central Suburban League crossover play.

Vernon Hills (4-25) had the game's two high scorers, as junior Luke Perlin finished with 22 points and Chris Mariella had 18.
