DiCanio sets Bartlett scoring record

Bartlett 74, Metea Valley 63: Ryan DiCanio set the Bartlett single-game scoring record with 43 points as the Hawks won in the Upstate Eight Valley. DiCanio broke the previous record held by 2002 graduate Anthony Maestranzi. Jordan Anderson added 12 points for the Hawks (12-3, 5-1) in the win.

Harvest Christian 57, Elgin Academy 46: With Noah Fox scoring 28 points for the second straight day, the Lions (9-8) sent the Hilltoppers to their fifth straight loss in nonconference action. Fox went 11-for-12 from the free-throw line and hit three 3-pointers to keep pace with the area's second leading scorer in Dee Robinson for the Hilltoppers (1-7). Robinson finished with 26 points, including 10-for-14 from the charity stripe and a pair of 3s, but fouled out before the end of the game.

Westminster Christian 83, Rockford Christian Life 60: The Warriors (10-4, 4-0) erupted for 28 points in the first quarter and kept the pressure up, taking an easy victory on the road in Northeastern Athletic Conference play. Four players finished in double digits for Westminster, topped by Sam Carani with 26 points. Dillon Rejman had 15, Robert Kleczynski finished with 14 and Scott Graziano poured in 11 points.

West Chicago 65, Streamwood 50: Despite 3 players in double digits, the Sabres' (1-15, 0-7) defense could not stop the Wildcats' offense in a Upstate Eight Conference River Division loss at home. Joey O'Halloran led the way for Streamwood with 13 points while teammates Brendon Marton had 12 and Jalell Jenkins had 10.

St. Patricks 61, Dundee-Crown 33: A bad start offensively doomed the Chargers (5-10) in a nonconference loss at home. Kiwi Seals once again led the way on offense for the Chargers, finishing with a team-high 11 points.

Glenbard East 68, South Elgin 53: Matty Smith had a game-high 27 points but it was still not enough to propel the Storm (6-9, 2-4) to a UEC Valley Division win on the road. Smith also hit for four 3-pointers while teammate Julian Lynch added 11 points.
