Way paces Stevenson win at D-C

Sophia Way scored a season-high 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, and Stevenson's girls basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season to defeat Rockton Hononegah 47-38 in a consolation-bracket game of the Dundee-Crown Charger Classic in Carpentersville on Monday.
Taylor Buford added 7 points and 5 rebounds, and Ashley Richardson had 7 points and 3 assists for the Patriots.
Stevenson (13-1, 2-1 tournament), which had lost to Evanston on Saturday, will play Burlington Central in today's fifth-place game at 5 p.m.
