Principal's reflections on the Class of 2020: For years to come, staff and students will remember the Class of 2020. The Class of 2020 is a group of individuals who have been able to overcome a situation few adults could ever imagine - and they have done so with grace, perseverance and a good sense of humor. We cannot think of this year as the year without an end. We must think of this year and this graduating class as a time and a group when we had to imagine a new future. At the same time, we must focus on all we have achieved. We must honor the members of the Class of 2020 who have been named Illinois State Scholars. We must recognize the students who are entering military service. We must applaud the students who have overcome a multitude of obstacles on their journey toward receiving their diplomas. The Class of 2020 has succeeded and endured as scholars, athletes, leaders and mentors. These individuals have been the pioneers on the new frontier of education. They started at Dundee-Crown just as we began on our digital journey, they have ended their high school careers by embarking into the new world of e-learning. These individuals have mastered skills, shared ideas, competed with grace and brought pride to the Dundee-Crown community. As the Class of 2020, they have proved that the 20/20 experience is one none of us will ever forget. The vision they have shared with Dundee-Crown is that we must be clear with our goals to persevere and achieve. They have encouraged us to step onto the pathway toward the future of education."
