Going 2-0 in its own tournament, Glenbard West defeated Fenton 49-37 on Tuesday. Dikiria Washington scored a game-high 20 points for the Hilltoppers (8-2). Cory Davis added 12 points while Fenton (2-9) got 11 points from DeMarcus Stone.
St. Francis 67, Hubbard 37:
Outscoring Hubbard 20-1 in the second quarter, 12 different Spartans scored and 14 played in St. Francis second-round win at Glenbard West. Jason Sullivan scored 14 points and both Kevin McShea and Andrew Kimball had 11 for St. Francis (8-2).
Willowbrook 74, West Chicago 61:
Also at Glenbard West, senior Josh Joiner had 19 points to lead Willowbrook (5-6). The Warriors already have equaled their wins total of last season. John Konchar also scored 19 points to pace West Chicago (2-9).
Leyden 51, Timothy Christian 35:
Leyden joins Glenbard West with a 2-0 record at the Hilltoppers tourney. Timothy Christian (4-9) got 15 points from Danny Leach and 14 by Connor VanderBrug in its loss.
Naperville North 61, Kenwood 53:
Snapping a brief, two-game skid, Naperville North (8-3) earned the win at Yorks Jack Tosh Tournament. Derek Westman scored 17 points and Anthony Rehayem had 14 for the Huskies.
Waubonsie Valley 65, Lyons Twp. 55:
Waubonsie Valley (9-4) went 2-0 at York behind Jared Brownridges 22 points and Bryan Jefferson with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
York 60, UIC Prep 35:
The Dukes (9-3) were led by David Cohn with 12 points and Frank Toohey with 10.
Wheaton Academy 62, Fenwick 47:
In consolation bracket play at Proviso West, Gordon Behr scored 21 points, Collin Roy scored 19, Gabe Partain added 11 and Jake Cousins grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Warriors (10-2).
Downers Grove South 67, Ellison 32:
Downers Grove South (6-5) allowed just 33 shots from the floor in the Proviso West consolation bracket victory. Jordan Cannon scored 16 points to lead the Mustangs.
Hinsdale Central 57, Von Steuben 38:
The Red Devils dealt Von Steuben their second loss at the Proviso West tournament. Hinsdale Central (6-4) was led by Matt Rafferty with 14 points and Alec Hutcherson with 10.
Immaculate Conception 69, Latin 50:
Clark Brinkman enjoyed his fourth 20-point outing in six games with a game-high 23 points at the IC/Westmont Tournament. The Knights (10-3) added 13 points apiece from Demetrius Carr, Rhashaun Epting and Anthony Taylor.
