Ali Andrews scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks, and Sam Andrews added 19 points and 8 rebounds Friday night to lead the Huntley girls basketball team to a 48-33 win over St. Viator at the Dundee-Crown Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Red Raiders (1-1) jumped out to a 31-22 halftime lead and extended it throughout the second half.
Cary-Grove 52, Johnsburg 16: Josln Nicholson had 14 points and 5 rebounds and Olivia Jakubicek added 13 points and 6 rebounds as Cary-Grove (2-0) rolled to an easy win at the Turkey Thriller. Abby Jakubicek added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the Trojans.
Serena 48, Westminster Christian 32: Maddie Versluys led the Warriors (2-2) with 11 points in this loss at the Somonauk tournament.
Kirkland Hiawatha 38, Elgin Academy 14: Kaitlyn Pearson and Allyson Wittmeyer each had 4 points to lead Elgin Academy (0-2) in this loss at the EA Thanksgiving tournament.
