St. Viator 50, Streamwood 45: The Sabres (1-1) played an even match with St. Viator before eventually suffering a tough 50-45 loss at the Dundee-Crown Tournament. Streamwood took a 20-17 lead into halftime, but could not hang on for the victory. Emma Schmidt and Michelle Tomczak paced the Sabre offense with 13 points apiece while Melissa Oehlerking also turned in a double-digit performance chipping in 10 points.

Hononegah 62, Dundee-Crown 41: The Chargers (0-4) remain winless on the year as their second half run against Hononegah proved to be too little, too late at the Dundee-Crown Tournament. Ali Sanders recorded a team-high 18 points for D-C while Megan Fasanella chipped in 9 points.

Oswego 61, Elgin 34: The Maroons (0-2) were unable to find their offensive spark as they fell to Oswego at the Genvea Invitational Brandi Hernandez was the only player to reach double-digits for the Maroons recording 11 points. Evelyn Boje added 8 points while Abbey Houde chipped in 5 points.

Burlington Central 41, Harlem 37: The Rockets (4-0) used a balanced offensive attack to edge out a 41-37 victory over Harlem at the Burlington Central Tournament. Jordan Maisto led allscorers with 15 points. Allie Settanni and Araceli Munoz recorded 9 and 7 points respectively while Katie McNutt and Taylor Colby chipped in 5 points a piece.

Burlington Central 59, Woodstock 51: The Rockets (4-0) captured their second victory of the day by defeating Woodstock 59-51 to advance to the championship game at the Burlington Central Tournament, which will be against Rockford Auburn on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Jordan Maisto once again led the way for the Rockets, scoring a team-high 19 points while Taylor Colby also recorded double-digits scoring 17 points. Katie McNutt added 9 points while Brenda Thasavong chipped in 6 points.

Hampshire 56, Yorkville 27: Alex Dumoulin wasted little time making her presence felt in the Whip-Purs' (2-0) 56-27 victory over Yorkville, as she recorded a double-double by halftime and finished the game with a game-high 20 points and 16 rebounds. Christina Heine also recorded double-digits with 13 points while Jessie Van Dorin and Cassie Dumoulin chipped in 9 and 8 points respectively.

Libertyville 51, Crystal Lake South 35: The Gators (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season as the fell to Libertyville 51-35 at the Bison Invitational. Katie Burton led the Gators offensively with 11 points and Michelle Gaede added 9 points. Lauren Chrystal chipped in 5 points.

Jacobs 41, Fremd 39: For the second day in a row, the Golden Eagles (4-0) earned a victory, by a margin of just 2 points, as they defeated Fremd 41-39 at the Dundee-Crown Tournament to remain undefeated. Maria Tamburrino paced Jacobs' attack with 18 points. Hailey Cnota just missed double-digits with 9 points while Sierra Dunner and Kathleen Mammoser recorded 6 points apiece.

St. Edward 47, Chicago Christian 39: The Green Wave (1-0) exploded for a 14 point fourth quarter en route to a victory in their season-opener as they defeated Chicago Christian 47-39 at home. Madeline Kerr recroded a game-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers while Vincenza Ranallo also recorded three 3-pointers and a total of 12 points. Alexandria Lee chipped in 9 points in the win.

Naperville Central 69, Bartlett 63 (OT): The Hawks (1-2) came up just short at the Naperville Central/Benet Tip-Off Tournament falling to host Naperville Central 69-63 in overtime. Haley Videckis and Jacki Gulczynski paced the Hawks with 17 and 16 points respectively while Nicolette Gutzwiller chipped in 11 points.
