Hampshire clicks in win over Buffalo Grove

Hampshire 75, Buffalo Grove 61: Five players reached double figures in scoring, with Jackson Milison and Jeremy Rosa Jr., each finishing with 15 points during the Hampshire's nonconference victory over Buffalo Grove Saturday afternoon in Hampshire.

Rosa Jr. made 7 of her 10 shots from the field.

Sophomore guard Keynan Davis contributed 13 points and 3 assists, while 6-foot-7 senior Nicholas Erickson had 12 points and 6 rebounds and senior guard Collin Woods added 11 points as the Whip-Purs (14-6) enjoyed an excellent offensive performance.

Hampshire connected on 6 of 13 from beyond the 3-point arc while hitting 17 of 21 free throws. The Whip-Purs got out of the gate quickly, taking a 19-11 lead after one quarter before extending it to 37-23 by halftime.

Buffalo Grove (18-5), which trailed 53-34 after 3 quarters, was led by 6-5 sophomore guard Kam Craft's 19 points, Craft, who became the fastest player in Bison history to surpass the 1,000-point mark during Friday night's win over Wheeling, finished with four 3-pointers.

Nathan Cole added 15 points for Buffalo Grove.

Dundee-Crown 69, Johnsburg 51: The Chargers (9-10) snapped a 4-game losing streak with their nonconference road win over the Skyhawks (6-16).

Naperville North 68, Streamwood 55: The Huskies climbed back to the .500 mark at 10-10 with their 13-point nonconference victory Streamwood Saturday night in Naperville. With the loss, the Sabres fell to 12-9.
