Elgin rallies from 19 down to win; Hampshire rolls

Hampshire put three players in double figures to kick off Fox Valley Conference play Wednesday with a 72-51 win over McHenry.

Nick Erickson scored 18 points, Jackson Milison had 15 and Collin Woods 10. Milison made all 9 of his free throw attempts for the Whips (2-3, 1-0).

Elgin 62, Addison Trail 50: The Maroons rallied from 19 points down to win Wednesday. They forced 20 turnovers in the second half to fuel the comeback, holding Addison Trail to 4 points in the fourth quarter.

Jeffrey Lomax led Elgin with 17 points, Dion Rodgers scored 11, Gio Griffin 10 and Xavier Bonds 9.

Trailed by 19 in the first half and comeback and won by 12. Defensive pressure by Elgin 2nd half turnovers for Addison 20.

St. Edward 46, Schaumburg Christian 38: The Green Wave won again at the Aurora Christian Burney Wilkie tournament behind 15 points from JP McGuire. Host Aurora Christian also won, 59-25 over Parkview.
