Guenther's career-best 30 paces Grayslake North

Savannah Guenther scored a career-high 30 points, and Grayslake North's girls basketball team defeated visiting North Chicago 59-28 in Northern Lake County Conference action for its fourth win in a row on Friday night.

The Knights (4-8, 3-3) hit 11 3-pointers. Margaret Stanfel added 8 points, Faith Standerski had seven, and Jordyn Gerdes chipped in six for Grayslake North.

Grayslake Central 41, Antioch 22: Rosie Drevline scored a game-high 10 points, as the host Rams remained undefeated in Northern Lake County Conference play.

Kate Bullman and Maura Fitzgerald each scored 8 points for Grayslake Central (9-4, 6-0).

Rachel Phillips had 5 points for Antioch (1-10, 1-5).

Grant 47, Lakes 42: The visiting Bulldogs won to improve to 7-4 and 5-1 in the Northern Lake County Conference.

Lakes (4-8, 2-4) was led by Mia Edwards' 15 points and 11 rebounds. Sara Smith had 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals.
