Burlington Central rolls past Freeport

Burlington Central improved to 2-0 at its own Thanksgiving tournament with a 64-5 win over Freeport.

The Rockets led 27-1 after one quarter and outscored Freeport 11-2 in the second quarter and 21-0 in the third.

Kat Schmidt led Burlington Central with 19 points, Mackenzie West scored 7 and three different players had 6.

At Hoffman Estates: Hampshire defeated Hoffman Estates 47-39 behind Sarah Bowen and Kelby Bannerman with 8 points and Morgan Haefling with 7.

Aurora Christian 68, Chicago U-High 16: The Eagles cruised to a win at the IMSA/Aurora Christian Hoop Happenings tournament behind 19 points from Tori Henning and 8 from both Lauren Richert and Dannielle Lopez.
