Senior Alyssa Iverson scored a game-high 31 points Saturday to lead the Harvest Christian girls basketball team to a 61-42 win over Elgin in the Elgin City Classic.
Elena Porreta and Isamar Garcia added 8 points each for the Lions (17-4).
Kamiya Harvey led Elgin (2-18) with 12 points. Dajha Cooper added 9 for the Maroons and Kylie Graves had 8.
Larkin 63, Westminster Christian 36: Also at the Elgin City Classic, Brianna Young had 12 points and Kiara Villa 11 to lead the Royals (3-14) to the win. Elise Van Noord led Westminster (5-9) with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
St. Edward 46, IC Catholic 36: Yssa Sto. Domingo had 17 points and 4 steals to lead the Green Wave to a Metro Suburban Red win. Haley Niehaus added 10 points, Madison Knott had 9 and Mallory Rejman 11 rebounds for St. Edward (13-6, 6-0).
St. Charles East 39, Barrington 33: Sara Rosenfeldt scored 14 points and Ashley DiOrio added 9 to lead the Saints (10-9) to a nonconference win.
Hampshire 49, Prairie Ridge 34: Lauren Herrmann had 16 points to lead the Whip-Purs (9-11, 4-5) to a Fox Valley Conference win. Ally Cermak added 12 points while Kelby Bannerman had 8 points and 10 rebounds for Hampshire.
South Elgin 51, Rosary 47: Megan McClure scored 24 points and Lexi Roberts added 17 for South Elgin (8-8) in nonconference action. Sophia Kramer led Rosary (12-7) with 18 points and Katherine Danos added 10.
CL Central 41, Jacobs 33: Elizabeth Schwartz (12 points) and Kyra Cabusao (11) led Jacobs (6-11, 4-5) in this FVC game.
