Annie Tate scorched the nets for 27 points Tuesday night to lead St. Charles North to a 56-50 Upstate Eight River girls basketball win over Streamwood.
Anna Davern added 10 points for the North Stars (11-7, 4-2) and Megan Gunnink scored 9.
Mother McAuley 59, Geneva 52: Despite balanced scoring, No. 2 Geneva (15-2) fell in this nonconference road game. Stephanie Hart led the Vikings with 13 points while Madison Mallory added 11, Lindsay Blackmore 10 and Margaret Whitley 9.
St. Edward 59, Riverside-Brookfield 41: Yssa Sto. Domingo scored 16 points and had 4 steals to lead the Green Wave to a Metro Suburban crossover win. Madison Knott added 13 points and 6 assists while Mallory Rejman had 12 points and Mariel Franco 10 for St. Edward (12-6).
ACC 55, Guerin 14: In a Metro Suburban crossover, Delani Kosner led Aurora Central with 14 points. Laea Anger added 9 for the Chargers (11-8) and Maddie Bunger scored 8.
St. Charles East 50, South Elgin 38: Sara Rosenfeldt (14 points), Alexis Kiefer (11) and Katherine Weinzirl (9) led St. Charles East (8-9) to this Upstate Eight crossover win. Megan McClure (11 points) and Catora Brown (8) paced South Elgin (7-8).
McHenry 70, CL South 32: Lauren Schoen led Crystal Lake South (6-11, 1-7) with 12 points in this Fox Valley Conference game.
