Deerfield 42, Grayslake North 38 (OT): The visiting Knights started the new year by dropping the nonconference game in overtime.
Savannah Guenther's 19 points led Grayslake North (5-6), which played its first game in 22 days. The Knights did not play in a tournament over the holidays.
