Dundee-Crown gets by Huntley
Senior Maddie Tripp scored 15 points Thursday night to lead the Dundee-Crown girls basketball team to a 36-28 Fox Valley Conference win at Huntley, moving the Chargers to 8-4 on the season and 5-2 in the FVC.
Anna Seng and Madison Walsh led Huntley (1-9, 0-6) with 6 points each.
Schaumburg Christian 30, Westminster Christian 23: In the Northeastern Athletic Conference, Elise VanNoord had 9 points for Westminster Christian (5-7, 1-2).
Kaneland 49, Newark 28: The Knights (9-2) will play Yorkville in a 6 p.m. semifinal at the Ottawa Tournament after winning this game Thursday night. Yorkville defeated Kaneland 53-49 in a Northern Illinois Big XII East game on Nov. 30.
